Dr. Gina McCray is a native of Southern Maryland and has been practicing general dentistry since 1987. She performs all aspects of family dental care and her special interests include periodontal therapy, cosmetic and implant dentistry, as well as children’s dental care.

Dr. McCray is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School, in Baltimore. She is a member of both scholastic and prosthodontic honor societies and has also been awarded the Nathan David Gold Award for “Conscientious and Enthusiastic Dedication to Clinical Practice.” She’s also been awarded the 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Top Practice Award from the Smiles For Life Foundation, as well as nominated for the Crown Council’s “Best Doctor to Work For.” Dr. McCray is devoted to patient education and preventive dental care in order to achieve good long-term dental health. It is her philosophy that to be able to address the patient’s needs and develop a superior long-term result, the dentist must be able to take the time to be a good listener and give patients the personal attention they deserve.

Dr. McCray is a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, as well as a member of Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Crown Council, and the Smiles For Life Foundation. In addition, she was president of the Patuxent Dental Society. Dr. McCray was raised in Southern Anne Arundel County where her father and family retired after 23 years in the Air Force. Dr. McCray has maintained her general dentistry practice in Mechanicsville since 1994. Her hobbies include family activities, racquetball, gardening, cooking, photography, theater, and traveling.
