The Crown Council has over 50 Resource Partners that are the best businesses within dentistry that provide their services or products for our Crown Council dental offices. Only the best are invited to attend the Annual Event.

You will have a chance to meet with them at the event in the mornings, during breaks and when the afternoon general session ends. They are there to partner with you and help you be successful.

The Crown Council Young Dentist Program is an opportunity like no other for dentists in practice for 5 years or less! Is the only expert-mentored training and support experience (conducted through several in-person diagnostic sessions and events) designed to jumpstart thriving careers at a time when many young dentists may feel especially isolated and vulnerable.

From March through June, hundreds of Crown Council dental practices throughout the U.S. and Canada professionally whiten teeth to raise money for seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children in their local communities and around the world.

When patients pay for their teeth whitening, they make the donation directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation. Our awesome partner, Ultradent, donates all the whitening materials. Crown Council practices donate their time. Patient’s smiles are professionally whitened and 100% of the contribution goes directly to help kids in need. Smiles for Life has raised almost $50 million dollars over the past 25 years!

All teams who contribute over $10,000 to the Smiles for Life Foundation during the 2025 campaign will be recognized on stage for their great efforts!

Cheering on, honoring, and recognizing our peers for a job well done is important. The top Smiles for Life offices work hard to raise money for those in need, and they deserve to be honored. Even if you didn’t participate in Smiles for Life this year, maybe attending the recognition will inspire your team to participate next time. Or attending might spark an idea or light a fire under one of your team members to want to be involved.

Also, the recognition only lasts about 30 minutes, and then we move on to our evening’s entertainment.

The Crown Council organizes dental humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic and Chiapas. There are a few trips per year, and about 50 people can go on each trip (doctors, spouses, hygienists and team members).

The cost of attendance is $1,395 per person. That includes all the event sessions, and three meals each day on Friday and Saturday.

There are three options:

1. Pay in Full
2. Pay equal monthly payments from May, 2025 – December, 2025
3. Pay a $400 deposit per person in May, 2024 and the balance in December, 2025

All payments are due by December 15, 2025.

It’s best to arrive Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, so you can have enough time to meet with your team to set your intentions, and to participate in all the fun Check-In activities on Thursday!

The trip from the Salt Lake City airport to the Grand America Hotel or Downtown Salt Lake is about 24 minutes.

It’s very hard to describe a Crown Council Annual Event Check-in! It’s really just an all-day PARTY and extremely important that you attend! You will receive all of your check-in materials and swag, and then you can stay as long as you’d like, get pumped for the event, connect, hang out and have fun! Be sure to plan enough time so you can experience it all (at least an hour or more)!

In the past we have had carnival games, photo ops, inflatable slides, challenges, service projects, t-shirt making, line dancing, a DJ spinning some tunes and much more! We are working hard to make this years check-in an unforgettable experience! Don’t miss out!

The rooms at the hotel are average sized.  Rooms have either a king bed or two queen beds and can easily accommodate two or more people.

There will be late check-in on Friday morning from 7:15am – 7:45am, but we don’t encourage checking in at the last minute. You’ll miss one of the best parts and won’t get the full experience of the Annual Event.

What makes the Annual Event special and different from other gatherings, is that we work very hard to make the weekend as personal as we can.

We have found the easiest way to communicate what’s going on at the event is by sending occasional text messages directly to each attendee’s phone. We don’t send very many texts, but when we do, they are filled with special announcements and information about the Event! If we don’t have your cell phone number, you won’t know what’s going on.

We want every minute to count and to be of worth to you! We don’t offer very many breaks during the event. There is usually a break on both days from about 4:30pm – 7:00pm.

The Program includes three mentored events with world-renowned Dr. David Hornbrook, Utah Valley Dental Lab, and other prominent industry leaders. The first event is held in conjunction with the Crown Council’s Annual Event. Young Dentists meet during breakfast and lunch during the Event to help select a deserving nominee to receive a complete, charitable smile makeover during the 2027 Young Dentist Program.

Because they want to get good seats! The Event is open seating in the ballroom for the general sessions, so some teams go early to reserve seats so they can sit together up front.

YES!!! And it is so awesome! It’s part of the Crown Council Annual Event Culture to participate in dressing up and being silly together. We would say 99% of attendees dress up and go all-out when asked to dress up in something fun. We have seen so many creative costumes and outfits!

The purpose of this breakfast is two-fold:

First, to allow the existing mastermind groups and their moderators to be together in person and meet for an hour (like they do once per month via Zoom, but in person for this particular meeting). We also provide them with an agenda for that in-person meeting as they sit around the table for that hour together.

And second, to gather those who are interested in joining a new Crown Council moderated Mastermind Group to sign up there at the breakfast.

It’s tradition! On Saturday at 12:00pm, we announce where and when the next Annual Event will be held. If you sign up on Saturday during lunch, you will receive $100.00 off tuition for each person you register.

The Crown Council Members’ Choice Awards!

We will have dinner at 7:00pm and then we will recognize our Qualified Members and present about 10 awards on stage. This is the only place in dentistry where you can nominate your doctor, your team or one of your peers to receive an award! We love to acknowledge and appreciate those who do amazing things! The awards last about one hour and then we will have some fun entertainment. Watch for an announcement!

“Black tie wear” is encouraged.
